TERMS OF SALES
Article 1 – Identification of the service provider
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“GTCS”) apply to all bookings of rental accommodation and/or bare pitches within the Naturist Holiday Village La Chiappa.
Service provider: SA du Phare – Village de Vacances Naturiste La Chiappa, with a share capital of €45,735, registered with the Ajaccio Trade and Companies Register under No. B 411 878 051, SIREN/SIRET: 411878051000027, VAT number: FR 53 41 187 80 51, registered office: Route de Palombaggia, 20137 Porto-Vecchio, France.
Article 2 – Services provided and prior information
The Village offers 2-star rental accommodation (bungalows, villas) and 3-star camping pitches (tents, caravans, motorhomes), as well as various ancillary services (restaurants, water sports, horse riding, etc.) described on the website and/or in the commercial brochure.
In accordance with Article L111-1 of the French Consumer Code, essential characteristics, VAT-inclusive prices and any applicable taxes (tourist tax, ecological contribution) are communicated to the customer prior to booking.
Article 3 – Booking
The booking is personal: the customer must be of legal age and legally capable; subletting or transfer to a third party is prohibited unless authorised in writing by the Village.
The booking becomes final after receipt of a deposit equal to 25% of the total amount of the stay.
For online bookings, validation of the order and checking the box to accept the GTCS and internal regulations constitute an electronic signature and contractual commitment.
Article 4 – Prices, taxes and fees
Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included, excluding tourist tax, administrative fees and optional services.
Administrative fees, tourist tax, ecological contribution and any applicable local fees are charged in addition at the rates in force on the date of the stay.
Article 5 – Payment of the stay
A 25% deposit is required at booking; the balance is payable upon arrival, before the keys are handed over or before installation on the pitch.
Accepted payment methods: bank card, cash within legal limits, French bank cheque, ANCV and ANCV Connect holiday vouchers, or bank transfer payable to SA du Phare (transfer fees payable by the customer).

Foreign cheques are not accepted.
Article 6 – cancellation
In accordance with Article L221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the customer does not benefit from the 14-day withdrawal period for accommodation services provided on a specific date or period.
Cancellation by the Village: if cancelled by the Village for any reason other than customer fault or force majeure, all amounts paid will be fully refunded without further compensation.
Cancellation by the customer:
- More than 28 days before arrival: administrative fees retained and a flat €50 re-marketing fee charged.
- Between 28 and 10 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit refunded (excluding administrative fees) and €50 re-marketing fee retained; the balance remains with the Village.
- Less than 10 days before arrival or no-show: the full deposit is retained by the Village and the customer owes the €50 re-marketing fee.
All cancellations must be notified in writing (email or registered letter) to info@chiappa or by registered mail to SA du Phare, Route de Palombaggia, 20137 Porto-Vecchio.
Article 7 – Arrival, departure and no-show
Accommodation is available from 3 p.m. and must be vacated by 10 a.m. at the latest.
In case of no-show and without news from the customer within 48 hours after the scheduled arrival date, the Village reserves the right to re-rent the accommodation or pitch; payments already made remain due.
Article 8 – Internal regulations, naturism and safety
The customer agrees to comply with the Village’s internal regulations, displayed on site and available upon request, in particular regarding naturism, tranquillity, safety and hygiene.
Any serious breach of the internal regulations or naturism rules may lead to exclusion without refund, after a formal notice remaining unsuccessful.
Article 9 – Liability, insurance and force majeure
The customer must hold civil liability insurance for any damage caused to the Village or to other guests; “holiday rental” insurance is strongly recommended.
The Village cannot be held liable in the event of theft, loss or damage to personal belongings, nor in cases of force majeure (exceptional weather, administrative closure, pandemics, etc.).
Article 10 – Consumer mediation
After contacting the Village’s customer service and failing an amicable resolution within 60 days, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the competent consumer mediator.

Article 11 – Personal data
Data collected during booking are used to manage stays, invoicing and communication regarding Village services, in compliance with GDPR and French data-protection law.
The customer has rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction, exercisable by contacting SA du Phare. A detailed privacy policy is available on the website.
Article 12 – Applicable law and jurisdiction
These GTCS are subject to French law.
In the event of a dispute with a consumer, and failing amicable settlement or mediation, the matter may be referred to the territorially competent court pursuant to the French Code of Civil Procedure and consumer law.
